- Your dog's name and the answers you give in the Waterline Assessment.
- Your city, if you join the "no trainer near you" waitlist.
- The content of any message or enquiry you send us.
- Booking and billing details when you pay for a session or program. Card payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not see or store your full card number.
- Basic technical information your browser sends automatically, such as device and approximate location, and any analytics data if analytics are enabled.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and provide the service you asked for.
- To send your assessment result and, with your consent, our newsletter and occasional updates.
- To take and manage bookings and payments.
- To map demand for new trainers (the waitlist) and to improve the website and our services.
- To meet our legal and tax obligations.
For visitors in regions such as the EU and UK, our lawful bases are your consent (for marketing), performing a contract (for bookings), and our legitimate interests (for running and improving the site).
Marketing and how to opt out
We only send marketing emails if you have opted in, and every email has a one-click unsubscribe, in keeping with the Australian Spam Act 2003. You can unsubscribe at any time, or email us to be removed.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the business, under their own privacy and security obligations. These currently include our email platform (Kit), our automation tool (Make), our payment provider (Stripe), and our website host (Cloudflare). Some of these providers are based overseas, so your information may be stored or processed outside Australia. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Cookies and analytics
The site uses minimal cookies needed to function. If we use analytics to understand how the site is used, it is configured to avoid collecting more than necessary. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Security and retention
